New GPSMyCity App Giveaway

It’s been a while since I last mentioned this, so I thought it might be a good time for a reminder. Several years ago, I partnered with the good folks of GPSMyCity to have my city guides converted for their travel app.

This meant that you could have my blog articles downloaded on your phone ready to use while you explored, and even the bonus option to subscribe for a GPS-enabled map included with it. With the benefits of the GPS-enabled map, you can see what landmarks and sights are mentioned in the article and where they are in relation to you. It’s basically a virtual tour by yours truly!

At first, I had about 25 articles available through their app, but we haven’t stopped since then. But over the years, we’ve added more and more articles to the GPSMyCity app, with more than 150 different articles of mine on there.

It’s another way to make use of my blog, but also a way to show support for my blog if you find these articles useful. On there, you’ll find city guides from Taiwan to Spain, Malaysia, and Bosnia Herzegovina. My most recent articles include:

New Giveaway!

With Easter just around the corner, GPSMyCity decided it was high time for another giveaway! 

For the next two weeks from today (until April 21), you can get the full version of these two articles on the app for free:

1. Best Places to Visit in Tallinn Beyond the Old Town
2. A Quick Sightseeing Guide to Visiting Avignon, France

The full version will unlock the GPS-enabled maps related to these articles, allowing you to easily do self-guided visits to cities. Of course, you can always get free versions of the articles, which have all the info, just no GPS-enabled map to help you get from A to B, which I do think is super handy.

How to get started

You can access GPS-guided travel articles in two different ways:

1. click on a link above for the article you are interested in (if you haven’t already downloaded the free GPSMyCity app, you will see a prompt to do so). After downloading the app, you will be directed to the article, where you can choose UPGRADE to get the GPS-guided version.
2. From the GPSMyCity app, you can browse by city to see which articles are available.

You can download any article for free or upgrade for offline GPS-guided use.
